Troop 104 embarked on an awesome camping adventure to Cachuma Lake Campground! With the Verdugo Oaks Camporee just around the corner, this trip was the perfect opportunity to practice our skills and bond as a troop.
New Faces Around the Campfire
A big welcome to the scouts who joined us for their first-ever camping trip with the troop! We’re so glad to have you along for the ride. From pitching tents to building campfires, we hope you learned a lot and had a blast.
Culinary Camping Creations
Forget hot dogs and beans! Troop 104 took camp cooking to the next level. We whipped up some truly delicious meals, flexing our culinary muscles and proving that campfire cuisine can be both tasty and impressive.
Adventure Beyond the Campsite
Of course, no camping trip is complete without exploring the great outdoors. We hit the trails for a scenic hike, soaking in the beautiful views of Cachuma Lake and the surrounding mountains. Later, we gathered around a crackling campfire, sharing stories and laughter under the stars.
A Night Under the Milky Way
One of the highlights of the trip was the incredible stargazing. With minimal light pollution, we had a crystal-clear view of the night sky. We even spotted the Milky Way! It was a breathtaking reminder of the wonders of nature.

After a weekend of skill-building, team-building, and memory-making, Troop 104 is feeling confident and prepared for the upcoming Verdugo Oaks Camporee. We can’t wait to put our newfound skills to the test and show everyone what we’re made of!
