On Saturday, November 11th, Boy Scout Troop 104 gathered at Bethlehem Lutheran Church for a special service project. The task at hand? Sanding and painting the well-loved swing set that had seen some wear and tear.

Nine scouts and two adult leaders joined forces to give back to our Charter Organization who is always helping the community. The swing set, in need of a fresh coat, had paint chipping off. Scouts first sanded and removed all chipped paint, prep the area for painting and painted the swingset a Celebration Blue color.

After a day of hard work, the swing set was transformed. The chipping paint was replaced with a smooth coat of Celebration Blue, making the play area safe and vibrant.

Troop 104’s service project was more than just painting; it was a day of learning, teamwork, and making a positive impact. Kudos to our scouts for their efforts in making Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s swing set a colorful and safe space for everyone! Stay tuned for more stories of Troop 104’s adventures and community service.
